how to view older assignments in microsoft teams

Student access to previous assignments

Good morning everyone,

I just got a new student on Monday..I added him to our team but he is not listed as having access to assignments previous to Monday..I invited him to our teams meeting and he is able to join and participate...any suggestions so that he can be able to view and work on assignments in Microsoft

I am not sure  100% but try this:

You should edit the assignment first. 

Go to the assignment itself 

1- edit assignment

2- assign to:   choose the second choice:  assign to students added to this class in future.

I am writing this message to follow up this thread. Have you tried out the suggestions shared by nourqrqor above?

The suggestion shared by nourqrqor should work perfectly, if you would like the future students to see the past assignment in their Teams.

After you edit the existing assignment by selecting “Assign to all students added to this class since <date>”,

The future students you added will also see this assignment under their assignment tab after they refresh.
