NIOS 10th, 12th Exams 2022: TMA submission link activated, know how to upload

Nios 10th, 12th exams 2022 tma submission link has been activated. candidates can check how to upload the tma through these simple steps given below. .

National Institute of Open Schooling has activated the submission link of TMA for NIOS Class 10, 12 Session 2022. The link for downloading or uploading Tutor Mark Assignment has become operational with immediate effect. Candidates can download or upload their TMAs through the official site of students portal of NIOS on sdmis.nios.ac.in. 

As per the <strong>official notice</strong> , for the learners of the current session i.e. Stream (Block 1) of the year 2021, NIOS has given an option to submit the TMAs online or offline at the respective study center. From the next session i.e. Stream 1 of the year 2021, it is mandatory for all the learners to submit/ upload the TMAs online only. 

NIOS 10th, 12th Exams 2022: How to upload TMA 

Candidates can check the steps given below to submit TMA online. 

• Visit the official site of Students portal of NIOS on sdmis.nios.ac.in.
• Login to the account.
• Prepare handwritten TMAs for each subject in PDF file.
• From the student dashboard, click on download/ upload TMA.
• Select the subject which you want to upload TMA and Select the medium/ language in which you have prepared TMA to upload.
• Select the correct PDF and click on submit button to upload the TMA.

NIOS Extends Tutor Marked Assignment Submission Date Till March 10

Candidates can now submit their nios tma till march 10, 2022, through the official website-- nios.ac.in..

The last date for the submission of Tutor Marked Assignments (TMAs) has been extended by the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS). Candidates can now submit their NIOS TMA till March 10, 2022, through the official website-- nios.ac.in.

Earlier, the last date of submission was February 15.

“Due to extension of admission in Stream 1 (Block 1) upto 30.11.2021 vide Notification: 64/2021 dated 15th November 2021, the last date for submission of Tutor Marked Assignment (TMAs) by the learners through online (learner dashboard) or offline to the AI (study centre) is further extended upto 10th March 2022 (Thursday) without late fee,” the NIOS said in a statement.

How To Submit NIOS TMA

• Go to the official website-- sdmis.nios.ac.in .
• Login to the account.
• Prepare handwritten TMAs in PDF format for each subject.
• Click on 'download/ upload TMA' link from the student dashboard.
• Click on the subject for which you want to upload TMA.
• Select the medium in which you have prepared TMA to upload.
• To upload the TMA, select the correct PDF and click the submit button.

NIOS Classes 10 and 12 exams 2022: The National Institute of Open Schooling has activated the submission link of TMA for NIOS Class 10 and 12 for the academic session 2022. As per the official notification, the link for downloading Tutor Mark Assignment has been activated with immediate effect. Students for more information can visit the official website, i.e., sdmis.nios.ac.in.

Jail Inmates - (Oct. 2019)

No Barriers in Education of Jail Inmates

Apart from affiliated schools, NIOS is presently having Study Centres (AAs, AIs, & AVIs ) in Jails of India also. It was observed that more number of jail inmates wanted to join NIOS courses but because of their poor financial condition, they were unable to do so. Accordingly, it was felt that if NIOS could offer the courses to jail inmates free of cost, it would enable them join NIOS courses for getting themselves educated. Also, if they are provided quality education during their stay in jails, it would certainly help them in earning their livelihood and bringing them into the mainstream of society after they are released from jails.

The minimum age to take admission in the Secondary Course is 14 years as on 31st July of Current year (for details, see prospectus)

A learner giving a self-certificate "I have studied enough to be able to pursue secondary course" is also eligible for admission to the Secondary Course.

A learner who had studied at the secondary level can also seek admission in NIOS either to complete his course or to improve his performance.

: The minimum age to take admission in the Senior Secondary Course is 15 years. As on 31st July of Current year (for details, see prospectus)

In order to take admission in the Senior Secondary course, the learner must have passed the Secondary course from a recognised Board.

Fee payment mode for Online Admission

There will be two options for the payment of fee.

The fee can be deposited Online through Credit Card /Debit Card/Net Banking.

In case admission is done through Common Services Centres, fee could be paid via Electronic Wallet of CSCs.

The learner has to be ready with the Scanned copy/soft copy (jpg, jpeg files) of the given below documents which will be required to be uploaded while registering for the Admission to Secondary and Senior Secondary courses

Recent Passport size color Photograph

Signature (preferably in Black Ink)

Valid identity proof (like Aadhaar Card or Passport or Ration card or etc.)

Valid proof of Date of Birth (like Aadhaar Card with date of birth printed on it in the dd/mm/yyyy format, Birth Certificate etc.)

A valid proof of Residence (like Aadhaar Card with complete address printed on it, valid Passport etc.).

Address proof i.e. Aadhaar Card/Water Bill/Electricity Bill/Voter ID/Ration Card/Indian

Passport/Statement of Operational Bank Account/Appointment Letter from the Employer on Printed Letter Head, if living in rented accommodation - copy of any proof of permanent address along with present Rented Agreement

Class 8th marksheet (in case of secondary course) or class 10th marksheet (in case of senior secondary course)

Social category/Caste certificate (in case the learner belongs to SC/ST/OBC social category).o Ex-serviceman certificate (in case he/she is an Ex-serviceman)

Disability certificate (in case he/she is having any kind of disability)

Fail Mark sheet of previous Board, failing which Transfer of Credit (TOC) marks will not be

updated in NIOS result. If TOC Board marked with (*Other) is selected then the Result should be available on the Concerned Board Website or Learner has to submit result verification letter from Concerned Board as per NIOS norms

Transfer of Credit (TOC)

Ex-Secondary/Senior Secondary learners of the following Boards of School Education who have passed in at least one subject, but have not qualified in the course, may seek admission in the respective course at NIOS and avail facility of TOC.

A learner should seek Transfer of Credits (TOC) at the time of admission in the subjects which are included in NIOS scheme of studies.

The learners who had applied for Transfer of Credit (TOC) have to send original failed marksheet mentioning the Reference Number on the back of Mark Sheet to the concerned Regional Centre.

Dual Enrollment and Part Admission

Under this provision, if in case a learner is studying in a regular school, or has already passed Secondary/ Senior Secondary examination or any other higher course from any recognised Board/University, he/she may opt for upto four subjects of his/her choice, to update knowledge and educational qualifications. However, on passing, only the Marksheet will be issued and no other Certificate will be issued. The entry requirement for dual enrolment and part admission will be as per NIOS admission rules (Table-3 Entry Requirements).

Instructions for online Admission to Secondary and Sr. Secondary courses in NIOS for the year 2023-24

• 1 After successful submission of Online Application Form for Admission to Stream 1 Block 1, you will get a confirmation on your email address and Mobile Number submitted during registration process.
• 2 You can make the Payment during the registration process or you can also make the payment later by login into Student Panel using the user name and password sent to you in your email.
• 3 After successful payment of the Admission fee, you will be communicated through email with payment receipt. You can also print/download your payment receipt and your Application Form from your dashboard after login.

You are registering for On Demand

On-line admission for learners who want to appear under the on demand examination system (odes) of nios for secondary level (stream-3)or sr. secondary level (stream-4).

Stream for On-line admission is open throughout the year for those learners who have already passed the Secondary Examination from the recognised Board and wish to take part admission in one subject or up to 4 subjects for updating their qualification, or learners who had appeared but could not clear, or who were eligible but could not appear in the Public Examination of the Secondary level from any recognised Board and want to appear through On Demand Examination System of NIOS for the Secondary level only and entry requirement of age, address proof as per table 3. The learners may upload the failed marksheet/Admit Card (Hall Ticket) alongwith relevant/supporting document and photograph on appropriate space available in the Online Admission Form for confirmation of the admission. The learners who had applied for Transfer of Credit (TOC) have to send original failed marksheet mentioning the Reference Number on the back of Mark Sheet to Online Cell, NIOS, Room No. 408, A-24-25, Institutional Area, Sector-62, NOIDA-201309, Uttar Pradesh. The Subjects available for appearing through ODES at Secondary level are Hindi (201), English (202), Sanskrit (209), Mathematics (211), Science & Technology (212), Social Science (213), Economics (214), Business Studies (215), Home Science (216), Psychology (222), Indian Culture & Heritage (223), Painting (225) and Data Entry Operations (229).

• 1 There is no Agencies/Cybercafe/any other institutions recognised by NIOS for Doing Online Admission.
• 2 You can take Admission yourself on the Internet without involving any middle man and without paying any extra amount to such middle man. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

NIOS has introduced 100% On-line admission at the Secondary and the Senior Secondary level in order to facilitate learners to register. Under this scheme, the learner have three options: (i)    He/She can register on-line directly by visiting the website of NIOS i.e., www.nios.ac.in (ii)    He/She may visit his/her nearest AI (Study Centre)/Facilitation Centre and take help for on-line registration. (iii)    He/She may visit the concerned Regional Centre of NIOS and take help for on line registration. (iv)    He/She can use the services of the Common Services Centres of the Govt. of India for Online registration throughout the Country.

A learner who has passed class VIII and has valid proof of attaining 14 years of age can apply for registration to the Secondary Course. The learner who gives a self certificate stating that "I have studied and able to pursue the secondary course" is also eligible for admission to the Secondary Course. The learner who had studied at the Secondary level can also seek admission in NIOS either to complete his course or to improve his performance. Residential proof of the learner.

The certificate of date of birth issued by a Municipal Corporation, a Municipal Body, a Village Panchayat or any other body authorised by the Registrar, Birth and Death, Government of India, and the Aadhaar Card issued by Govt. Agency is a valid proof of date of birth. However, in case of orphans, street children etc., a medical certificate in respect of age issued by a Government Hospital is also acceptable as a valid proof of date of birth.

What is a tutor marked assignment, how to submit nios assignment/tma file online.

NIOS learners can now download and upload TMAs from their dashboard as per the schedule of submitting/ uploading TMAs.

For the learners of current session i.e Stream 1 (Block 1) of year 2022, NIOS has given an option to submit the TMAs online (through student dashboard) or offline at the respective study centre. From next session i.e Stream 1 (Block 2) of the year 2022, it is mandatory for all the learners to submit/upload the TMAs online only.

Tutor Marked Assignments (TMA)

• How to submit Online Nios Assignment ?
• Step 1 – Uploading of TMA will be available only as per the TMA uploading schedule mentioned by NIOS for each session.
• Step 2 – Submitting/Uploading TMA is applicable only for the learners/students of Stream 1
• Step 3 – TMA(s) can be uploaded only for the subject for which the learner/student is registered in NIOS. TMA(s) of subjects selected for Transfer of Credit (ToC) can’t be uploaded.
• Step 4 – Once the due date for submitting/uploading TMA is over, Learner/student will be able to upload the TMA only after paying the TMA late fee online through the Student Portal.
• Step 5 – Before uploading the TMA, please ensure that the correct TMA is selected for upload. TMA once submitted cannot be submitted/uploaded again.
• Step 6 – TMA status can be seen from the TMA Status on TMA Tile on the Student Dashboard
• Step 7 – There are four steps in the process of uploading the TMA(s):
• Step-I – Download TMA(s)1
• Step-II – Prepare hand written TMA(s) with marking each page with page number
• Step-III – Scan the hand written TMA(s) into .PDF for each subject separately
• Step-IV – Upload the TMA(s) saved into .PDF file

( Note: Each online activity of the learner/student will be tracked and monitored on the portal starting from login till logout IP address and system environment of the device/ laptop/ computer /mobile IMEI will be monitored for security reasons and for further analysis to improve the system.)

HOW TO DOWNLOAD YOUR TUTOR MARKED ASSIGNMENT QUESTION PAPER ?

(iv) After login you can click on TMA Download Link

(v) After that Prepare hand written TMA(s) with marking each page with page number. Write answer on A-4 size one side line page. Use blue pen for answers and black pen for writing questions. Now if you have completed the writing of all the subjects.

(vi) Scan the hand written TMA(s) into .PDF For each subject separately. (Type: PDF, Max Size: 5MB)

(vii) If you are ready to submit TMA. Then Click UPLOAD TMA Button on Dashboard.

(viii) After submission tma File you can check TMA Status on Dashboard
