The TH 10 basso is the reference subwoofer for advanced audio systems. The X-pulp cone, produced using cellulose pulp and a glass fibre mesh, provides the highest rigidity along with the warm and detailed sound typical of cellulose. The high precision mechanical parts were created by machining solid one piece material. The single layer, flat wire, edge wound voice coil enhances the compact size and light weight of the mobile group while still maintaining unmatched thermal dissipation. The enormous ferrite magnet contributes to the exceptional acoustic performance generating enhanced pressure and undistorted low frequencies even in compact size enclosures. The anti-resonant die cast alloy basket, the aerodynamic profile of the spokes, together with the "open-air" design drastically reduce back wave reflections. The zinc alloy grille protects without altering the acoustic performance.

Extra Info: The Thesis range of gear is Audisons top range of car audio products. This Thesis 10in sub is in excellent condition, typical marks around mounting holes from mounting screws,a few marks on the back plate of the basket but otherwise very, very clean. As far as I have been told there was only one owner of the sub before me who had it in a show car so very lightly used. I've used it in one sub box only for an additional 2 months (max) before removing it and boxing it up for a rainy day. Doubt that is going to come so better off with someone who can make use of it. It comes with the cast aluminium grille, all factory packaging, manuals etc.

It is a beautifully built Italian sub with a cast aluminium basket with a mirror finished rear plate that may make you want to build a Perspex sub box to show it off. It's a very versatile sub, basically capable of taking as much power as you can throw at it but also, with that being said, it has a fairly reasonable sensitivity for a sub so would work off lower power too. Would therefore think it would work equally as well in a home sub situation too.

State Research Center of Virology and Biotechnology VECTOR

The State Research Center of Virology and Biotechnology VECTOR , also known as the Vector Institute , is a highly sophisticated biological research center in Koltsovo, Novosibirsk Oblast, Russia. It is roughly analogous to both the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the US Army Chemical and Biological Defense Command. It has research facilities and capabilities for all levels of Biological Hazard, CDC Levels 1-4. It is one of two official repositories for the now-eradicated smallpox virus, and is part of the system of laboratories known as the Biopreparat.

Recently the facility has been upgraded and secured using the most modern cameras, motion sensors, fences, and biohazard containment systems. Its relative seclusion make security an easier task. Since its inception there has been an elite army regiment guarding the facility.

The facility has, at least until Soviet times, been a nexus for biological warfare research, though the nature of any ongoing research in this area is uncertain. Many of the researchers at the institution are courted by other research institutions around the globe.
