Position Overview: The Game Presentation Coordinator plays a vital role within the Game Presentation department. Reporting directly to the Game Presentation Manager, this position is responsible for developing and executing game day plans, coordinating events, and creating unforgettable fan experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support, research, and develop game presentation plans, concepts, and theme-specific elements for home games.
  • Coordinate production and stage management at signature events such as Draft Party, Training Camp, Season Premiere, and Taste of the Texans.
  • Manage game day entertainment, including Color Guards, Flag Holders, in-game promotions, and on-field presentations.
  • Schedule and oversee Color Guard and flag holder groups.
  • Handle operational needs for back of house, locker room allocations, and staff and entertainment meals.
  • Create and manage game day equipment and shot lists.
  • Oversee field props, inventory, and equipment storage.
  • Co-manage the Deep Steel Thunder drumline, including booking appearances and coordinating logistics.
  • Lead game day parade operations and logistics.
  • Serve as Field Manager for Texas Bowl and support other Lone Star Sports and Entertainment events.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to create a cohesive and memorable game day experience.
  • Assist in developing and managing the yearly budget for the department.
  • Monitor the Entertainment inbox and respond to fan inquiries.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

What You Will Do

Fan activation design and execution:.

  • Let your imagination run wild as you design and unleash thrilling fan activations for THE WALL and Supporters Section.

  • Keep the excitement flowing by constantly tweaking and enhancing activations based on fan feedback.

  • Dive into the action and interact with fans during activations, ensuring everyone is having a blast!
  • Gather fan feedback to see how epic your activations are and discover ways to make them even more amazing.
  • Turn THE WALL and Supporters Section into a hub of non-stop energy and fun.
  • Team up with the Director of Game Presentation to make sure your activations sync perfectly with our game day strategy.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure your activations are seamlessly integrated into the game day magic.
  • Spot and seize opportunities across different Game Presentation elements to supercharge the fan experience.
  • Help create mind-blowing content and fan experiences that set the bar sky-high.

Event Management:

  • Plan and manage the execution of fan activations, ensuring every logistical detail is covered for a seamless experience.
  • Craft and share the run-of-show details and scripts for THE WALL and Supporters Section with the Director of Game Presentation.
  • Support and energize pre-game rehearsals for all show elements.
  • Oversee the setup and teardown of activation areas, making sure everything is perfect for THE WALL and Supporters Section.
  • Ensure all activations run smoothly and tackle any issues that pop up on the spot.
  • Keep a close eye on the performance of fan activations, evaluating their success to keep the excitement at its peak.

Homecourt Advantage Enhancement:

  • Spot exciting opportunities to amp up our homecourt advantage with innovative fan activations.
  • Team up with the Game Presentation Team to create a lively and intimidating atmosphere that keeps visiting teams on their toes.
  • Make sure every activation adds to building the fiercest homecourt advantage in the NBA. All other duties as assigned.

Your Background, Skills and Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience in a related position are required.
  • Experience in management or supervisory role in live entertainment production.
  • Basketball and sports knowledge a must.
  • Has excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain positive and supportive working relationships.

About Intuit Dome:

Opening in August 2024, Intuit Dome is the new home of the LA Clippers and will host hundreds of sporting events and concerts each year. Located in Inglewood, Calif., Intuit Dome is built different - it will redefine fans' expectations for live experiences and change the music landscape in Los Angeles.

Compensation

  • The range for this position is $75,000 - $80,000 annual compensation. Compensation package offered will be based on multiple individualized factors, including a candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

  • Collaborate with external vendors on match presentation elements to bring exciting entertainment to the audience (e.g. pyro, AR, etc.). 
  • Oversee the planning & execution of fan engagement, including pregame and halftime shows, fan trivia, contests, and fan cam experiences.  
  • On gameday, call the show and live events integrating all production elements (i.e., lighting, music, video, PA, entertainment, etc.).   
  • Own the coordination with other onsite staff to ensure smooth & timely operational production. 
  • Monitor fan satisfaction with match presentation elements to continually improve the experience for our fans.  
  • Create a repeatable framework for gamedays that can scale over time and has flexible windows for specialty programming. 
  • Assist in sourcing a secondary and/or local producer when needed. 
  • Hire & manage on-field producers & assignments.  
  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in marketing or productions, or 5 years’ game day directing or relevant field experience.   
  • Knowledge of broadcast control room and production environments.   
  • Experience with integration of multi-branded marketing and sponsorship environment.
