✔notes as detailed above
Sexism / Sexisme
mon rapport envers – my attitude toward
le sexisme repose sur – sexism is based on
diminuer – to decrease
sois tranquille! – be quiet!
s’exprimer – to speak out
se voir en droit – to feel entitled to
enrager de jalousie – to be enraged with jealousy
la violence perpétrée contre les femmes – violence against women
dégoûtant – disgusting
Women’s role in society
occuper une meilleure place – to have a better place
jouir de droits – to have rights
propriétaire – owner
le droit à salaire égal pour travail égal – right to equal salary (for same role)
être soumise à – to be under the authority of/to be dependent on
scandaleux – scandalous
à haute voix – loudly
soutenir – to maintain
l’inégalité salariale – salary inequality
Politics / Politique
s’investir dans – to get involved in
C’est à nous de le construire – it is to be built by us
Je participe aux actions organisées par mes concitoyens – I take part in the initiatives organised by my fellow citizens
les droits sont violés – the rights are violated
avoir besoin d’améliorer leur conditions de vie – to need to improve their living conditions
les retraités – retired people
les sujets d’actualité – current issues
Le monde d’aujourd’hui est plein d’injustice – today’s world is full of injustice
où l’humanité serait unie – where humanity would be united
prochainement – soon
obtenir des compétences juridiques – to get knowledge of the law
rallier à un parti politique – to join a political party
comprendre qui a raison et qui a tort – to understand who is right and who is not
les débats politiques – political debates
confondre – to confuse
être sceptique – to be sceptical
se moquer – to mock
des gens qui manifestent dans les rues – people protesting in the streets
des pancartes – banners
des affiches – posters
les manifestants – protesters
avoir une opinion forte – to have a strong opinion

Olympics for french
So I have an answer on the benefits of the Olympics on normal people of Paris but I'm thinking I should a diary entry of like ' Hey I'm at the Olympics today I saw the running tomorrow I'm watching the gymnastics' something along those lines. And then I was think what if they ask you "The Olympics are happening in Paris this year what's your favourite sport ?" So i should write something about my favourite sport. As you can see I am really overthinking this but I'd love to hear what everyone else is doing.
