• Unlisted Special Rewards(s) : unlocks  No Remorse, No Surrender

Pandora's Arena Walkthrough and Notes

• You will need to finish The Blazing Sun quest then talk to the  Huntsman before unlocking this quest. Then, talk to the blacksmith to receive the special assignment. If you have the Iceborne DLC, talk to the blacksmith in Seliana to receive the special assignment.
• The quest is not available when you're with the Serious Handler during the Iceborne story.

Just completed this for the first time and somehow my Palico found a Lunastra Gem the first time we encounter one. Lmao

While i completed it. Whoever created this and decided to do a dps check with this horrible creature in such a tiny space is a massive scumbag. I'd use worse more descriptive words, but i assume this place likes to censor well-deserved descriptions of some people and things.

I found this quest and am considering doing it. I assume my master rank fireproof armor (45 fire defense) will suffice, correct?

Was going to try again after getting a bit stronger but noticed I have the serious handler and can't do it rn...

oh man. god awful quest, the good news it can be beaten but it will be hard. It took me 9 hair pulling tries till I finally beat it last week, what I tried was equipping Zorah armor, arm armor with rathalos alpha or beta will work for fire resistance. shielded weapons that can make you mobile like sword and shield or charge blade, preferably charge blade for heavy damage. Lastly fireproof mantle is a must use it when she charges up. cool drinks on hand as well and lots of healing health booster comes in handy, if you must for breather use smoke bomb or dung pod to escape her, have palico equiip shieldspire, avoid her attacks as much as possible and attack the belly, mount attacks help alot if you can pull it off and use dragonator and rock drop as well. When around the 5 minute more if you did enough damage to her she will automatically go the center of the arena and roar and it will signify a quest complete. Hopefully this helps and good luck and ignore the people on here that say its not too hard, they don't have a clue what true struggle means.

Do blazing sun, then Pandora’s arena, (under special investigations) then talk to huntsman to do no retreat,no surrender

Rapid fire sticky 2 light bowgun. All over inside 5 minutes and I missed the rock drop! She's constantly KO'd didn't even get to super nova. oh and equip your cat with the shield, Luna spent 80% time attacking the cat!

Got her with the lance. Took two tries. Had 20 fire resist, used the dragonator once. I'm not very good at lance so that might be why the main problem was running out of time.

Did first try as Lance, just stay safe during the massive fire phases and keep her knocked out with slinger to the face so she runs into the walls.. Had 7-8 mins. left

In Iceborne, this quest can be obtained from the Smithy located in Seliana.

So i didn't do this quest in the base game, but since i went to the new area and new base, the quest has gone and special assignments is greyed out. Not sure what to do?

Note you don't need to kill it, just make it flee. For me, the lunastra fled right after the "5 min remaining" message. Yes, this fight is tough, especially that big AOE which covers the whole arena. So bring fire resist + HP boosts + ice damage. The fireproof mantle also helps a lot. Keep your HP high and don't be afraid to overheal, that's the only way I found to counter it's AOE. Solo-ed her with this build (there may be better builds, I did this quick): Legia Snowfletcher Damascus Mail Beta Damascus Coil Beta Damascus Greaves Beta Rath Soul Helm Beta Rath Soul Braces Beta Fire Charm Vitality Mantle Fireproof Mantle Decorations: Frost Jewel (x1) Fire Res Jewel (x1) Vitality Jewel (x3) Destroyer Jewel (x2) Steadfast Jewel (x2) Gobbler Jewel (x1) - The 2 rathalos pieces gives you it's level 1 elemental damage buff, which comes in handy for ice damage. - 3 Damascus pieces for the fire res and armor boost skills. - Steadfast Jewels are a must if (like me) you get always hit. Getting stun in here gets you carted, guaranteed. - Vitality Jewels allow you to raise your HP up to 200, which allows you to resist that ****ing AOE. - Gobber Jewel, because you're going to drink like a barfly. That was enough to make it flee. Killing it might require a more specialized build, comments are welcome.

Use ice attack and lots of fire resistance. Just solo'd her on my 1st try, its easier than the other comments will have you think!

I can finish silent deadly something within 25-30 minute but I'm still scared of this quest OTL (fucc 15 minute quests they make me panic and***** I can't even focus on any damn thing lol)

This one is a toughie, but it's mostly because of the quest/arena you fight her in and not because Lunastra is particularly strong. She is as much of a puppy in Investigations as her husband Teostra, it's just that they seem to buff her up for the story quests. Things to keep in mind: Don't stand anywhere near the tail when she starts swinging, because the hitbox is broken af and you will get hit even though the tail never touched you. Also obviously don't just randomly flashbomb her, but you can bait out her supernova with a flashbomb from far away meaning the fight becomes a bit safer for you in the next couple of minutes. Fire resistance on armor is a must, don't be greedy and eat for L elemental resistance. Lastly, don't repeat my mistake and bring water weapons thinking she must be weak against it: Her weakness to water is (suprisingly) 1 star, meanwhile weakness to ice is 3 stars.

If your not a HR 999 super level then dont even try. You will only get pissed off.

Give her the hammer. Cut her out at the legs. No one will be disappointed.

Had to set aside the Lance for this one sadly. Picked up HBG, blew her *****ing face off with Magda Gemitus II, Dober/Xeno/Xeno/Xeno/Kirin armor, all Beta, with 2x Attack, 2x Maintenance, 2x Fire Res, and 3x Steadfast, with Artillery III Charm, and Recoil/Recoil/Shield mods. Bring mega drugs, astera jerky, cool drink, vitality/fireproof mantles, nutrients and steaks (for future deaths in case), blastnuts/bomberries + level 3 gunpowder and level 1 and 3 Cluster and Sticky ammo for max damage + stun. Be sure to have Power and Armor Talons/Charms for more damage and survivability, just in case. Best of luck to anyone else hunting this god-forsaken quest solo. I can only wish you the best of luck. Oh, and use the Dragonator for god's sake, it's like 1000 free damage.

Oh come on man this quest is bull****! Her supernova spawns the entire arena making it impossible to get away and the damage is enough to one-shot you on the spot everytime even with top gear, the fire traces she leaves behind take forever to leave and the fire they produce even BLOCKS bowgun bullets and arrows to boot!? That's not even unfair at this point! That's Just bull****!

This quest makes me want to quit the game, I have all the right gear and defenses and yet STILL cannot defeat her. It's like this monster is specifically designed to screw over Lancers

rename this quest :"how to make a lancer main rip his hair off in 15 minutes" ty even with the uragaan protection (block the unblockable) i can t do it as a lancer. you stay still? you have over 40 fire res? you even have heatguard? let s make a new type of fire which burn the ground and you at the same time if you stay still. you can't dodge? not a problem just use your entire endurance on little jumps while guarding the monster attack and wait for your health to come back in 5 minutes. too simple? let s give it a new type of supernova which burn you even if you block it and of course the damages stacks with the fire which burn the ground

A shielded HBG with high base damage and sticky/cluster 3 ammo, with nothing but an Artillery charm in terms of damage, can bring her down in less than 10 minutes. Just land as many sticky headshots as possible, and Lunastra almost never recovers from the chain KOs.

Use the traps. Hit her with the boulders, then the spears, both of them, and get knocked out to use fortify and hammer her with an ice weapon. I used diablos tyrannis 2 because it's a hard hitter and it does ice.

Hey just a quick question; what the actual hell? 15 minutes to beat an elder dragon with unblockable aoe’s? Like, sorry we aren’t all team dark side beating elders in 4 minutes, but this is impossible for normal players.

I got a pretty good build going with ice bow. And never have a problem with any other monsters, but this monster is hard. I have tried the quest countless time trying to win buy just can't, when ever lunastra screeches and I get stuck in place, she hits me with a fire attack then keeps focusing me until I die even though I can't roll out of the way. My palico has taunt shield to keep her distracted but it does not work on her.

This quest is really difficult for me, help

Marvel's Spider-Man 2 was released on Oct. 20, 2023, and quickly became one of the most popular superhero games ever released. While its story is astounding, the best part of the game is the rewarding nature of its gameplay and the variety of things that players can do throughout the game. One of the most enjoyable things to do around Spider-Man 2 's New York City is finding hidden items and locations.

The items and locations throughout the game are split into two categories, those being side quests and item searches. For things like The Flame sidequests, players need to go to specific locations to trigger the game's main subplot. For items like spider-bots, players need to keep their eyes out for pulsing frequencies which will tell Spider-Man that there is a robot in the area. Each of these items and sidequests is important and adds a significant amount of enjoyment to Marvel's Spider-Man 2 's already engaging gameplay loop.

Item Collections Are the Most Engaging Side Content

Examples include: marco's memories and mysteriums.

How to Take a Picture in Marvel's Spider-Man 2

Peter Parker is known for his photography skills, and Marvel's Spider-Man 2 lets players show them off with a few ways to capture images in-game.

Throughout Marvel's Spider-Man 2 , players are introduced to many side-missions and collectibles that help the game enhance its stellar worldbuilding . The first of these side-missions is introduced after the game's first boss fight, Sandman. Following this boss fight, Sandman is arrested, but his memories are contained in crystals throughout New York City and the five boroughs .

These memories are guarded by fragments of Sandman's body that need to be taken down to obtain the crystals — once acquired, players can piece together Sandman's tragic backstory and help get him off the hook for his crime. These side-missions, referred to as Marco's Memories, are noted on the mini-map by an orange crystal marker and a puff of sand that can be seen from far away.

Another major Spider-Man villain, Mysterio, is shown many times throughout the game in side-missions known as Mysteriums . These missions are entirely combat-based, and each one has a unique challenge to complete to finish it. They're usually time-based, but can also require players to flawlessly complete them without being hit. By the end of these missions, Mysterio is ready to launch his Mysteriums as an amusement park attraction for the public — these points of interest are marked by an ominous eye shape on the mini-map, and a bright green portal signifies their location.

Spider-Bots are the most plentiful item to collect in Marvel's Spider-Man 2 , as there are 42 of them to collect around the city. Each of these spider-bots gives players tech parts to create new suits for both Peter Parker and Miles Morales. Unlike every other collectible in the game, Spider-Bots are not indicated on the minimap and can only be found searching for the colorful pulsing circles they put out throughout the city. When players find each of the Spider-Bots, they unlock an intriguing sidequest, which makes this grueling search-and-find mission worth it in the long run.

The final item collection in Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is also the game's least challenging item to collect, as Photo Ops are easily indicated on the map by cameras that will point out notable locations. Each of the photos gives a player a reason to explore the expansive map while also seeing everything that the in-game model of the city has to offer.

Overall, the item collections are the most plentiful side missions in Marvel's Spider-Man 2 . Each of them gives meaningful upgrades and some of them even unlock notable story content. These collectibles are worthwhile to find and give the game hours of content long past the end credits.

Stellar Side Stories and Smaller Quests

Like many other open-world games, Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is filled with an immense number of sidequests with a varying degree of quality. The best of these sidequests is part of the game's most significant subplot, as it features one of Spider-Man's biggest villains, Cletus Kasady (also known as Carnage). Throughout this sidequest, players team up with a former friend, Yuri Watanabe, who now assumes the role of a vigilante known as the Wraith. These quests are the most engaging side content in the game, as they perfectly blend intriguing puzzles and exciting action.

By the end of this sidequest, Cletus Cassidy escapes with the symbiote , which could set up the plot of the game's sequel. These four sidequests are noted on the minimap by a small flame, but only one of them will show up at a time. The FNSM App quests make use of Spider-Man's fittingly titled "Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man" app to point out to citizens that the famous web-slinger can help throughout the city when he is done taking down Kraven the Hunter and Venom.

Unlike other quests throughout the game, these quests do not have a minimap marker, as players are instead guided to them when they accept the quests through the app. Each of these quests gives players hero tokens and tech parts, along with XP, which helps players make new suits and gadgets, while also unlocking new abilities to use in battle.

The Cultural Museum sidequests are Miles Morales' primary sidequest , as he tries to prevent the robbery of the Brooklyn Cultural Museum and chase down the criminals. These sidequests only become available after completing the "Funky" mission in the main story, so players need to complete a decent portion of the main game before fulfilling the requirements for this sidequest. While this mission is remarkably short and contains only two chapters, it is one of the few quests in the game that directly rewards players with a suit to wear. Because this suit is one of Miles Morales' best outfits, this sidequest is a worthwhile experience.

The final set of sidequests that are contained in Marvel's Spider-Man 2 revolves around Miles Morales helping some of the students of the Brooklyn Visions Academy with various issues, and are unavailable until players complete the "Amends" main story mission. At the end of these quests, Miles is gifted with a suit by the students, who are appreciative of his help. Unlike many other sidequests, this batch of missions is entirely puzzle-based, so players need to utilize their wits to take down these challenges.

Overall, the sidequests in Marvel's Spider-Man 2 are varied in quality and storytelling . While some of them are phenomenally well-written and fun, others feel meandering and dull to complete. However, the rewards make each quest a worthwhile experience for players.

How to Do Tricks in Marvel's Spider-Man 2

Marvel's Spider-Man allowed players to perform tricks as they swing through the air and the sequel follows on from that fun setup.

Once players finish their item collections and sidequests, there are still plenty of small challenges to take care of before completing 100% of Marvel's Spider-Man 2 . The first of these is Prowler Stashes, a special collection of tech that Miles Morales' uncle has left scattered throughout the city from his time as the Prowler. Each of these stashes requires players to use Miles' electric powers to turn on power wires and unlock doors to get to the tech. These stashes are some of the game's most enjoyable puzzle segments, and they are indicated on the minimap with a Prowler crest.

Peter Parker performs EMF Experiments as he explores the city on behalf of his new job at the Emily May Foundation. These experiments are a lot like the DNA experiments in the first game, as they help Peter collect scientific data throughout the city. Each of these assignments is marked by an Eily May Foundation crest on the minimap and rewards players with an amount of tech parts and hero tokens.

As players explore, there is a chance to find 1 of 8 target drones and chase them down while they are surveying the city. These missions function as short chase scenes and make use of the best of Spider-Man's web-swinging to help players chase down drones to collect rare tech parts. While these sections can be tedious at times, they are some of the most rewarding things to find if players want to collect every suit in the game.

Hunter Blinds and Bases are the most action-packed side content in Marvel's Spider-Man 2 as they task players with taking down Kraven the Hunter's soldiers and confiscating their weapons. These bases are marked on the map once a player takes down a specified number of Hunter Blinds, so players need to take down all the Hunter Blinds to find each of the 4 bases. Overall, the segments with the hunters are some of the most fun portions of the game, and they are worth the time they take to complete.

Finally, the last bit of side content is the Symbiote Nests that show up on the map after Venom tries to take over New York City . These missions are the easiest to find, as they are shown by the tall tendrils that rise into the sky and surround the buildings. Each of these quests is a time trial, as players need to protect a supersonic device that can take out the symbiote nest. These devices need to be protected for an average of 2 minutes before defeating the symbiote nest.

Overall, Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is filled with amazing side content for fans to enjoy long after the end credits for the main story roll. From enticing collectibles to intriguing side quests, every bit of the game is vibrant and encourages fans to sink several hours into the game.

Problem accessing Special Assignments?

A buddy of mine is unable to access his Special Assignments. Thing is, to unlock them you have to do the chain of quests (y'all already know that deal) and then completing the Special ones unlocks the optional version. He has the Optional Jho quest (confirmed in Discord vid call) but he can't even highlight the Special Assignments. Any idea what is happening? I've searched but found no answers :c

We came to this error because another friend was running Teo/Luna for the Temporal and he couldn't join that one. We've looked for the proper NPCs but could not find them.
