My first boat trip-(මගේ ප්රථම බෝට්ටු චාරිකාව)

Mage bottu charikawa sinhala essay
The idea of sailing by boat across a river first came to my mind last week. That’s because our teacher was talking about a boat trip.
Meanwhile, the organizers of our school welfare society intended to take the children on a tour of the Galle area. I learned that they were planning to take the kids on a boat trip. I was very happy because I had never been on a boat trip like that. My friends were also very happy about the impending trip.
On the appointed day we started our journey to Galle by private bus. After reading the popular novel “Madolduwa” written by Martin Wickremesinghe, all the children wanted to go to Madolduwa. This was included in the program of our tour by the organizers. We looked forward to seeing this little island.
I was very happy to see the boats coming from Madoldu. Little children boarded boats with their parents or teachers. I was thrilled when the boatman started the engine.
First our boat took one round trip around Madol Duwa, a small island near the port of Galle. When I saw Madolduwa, I immediately remembered Upali and Jinnah. Their heroism. Jinnah eats rice with coconut sambal and kumbala dried broth. The Madol Duwa tour was one of the happiest times for me. My friends were happy too. Our teachers told us not to put our hands in the water because of their fear of accidents.
When we returned after visiting Madolduwa, we saw another boat ready for us. The driver there was a better efficient person. We went very fast. We were able to reach the river bank for lunch without any mishap. I will never forget that joyous journey.
