Your relationship with the UPM community does not end upon graduation. UPM graduates are welcome to join the UPM Alumni Association, which is dedicated to strengthening the bonds of friendship and networks from a variety of expertise. In fact, many members of the UPM Alumni have been appointed as ambassadors at large for their contributions in their fields, and they have left a big impact on society and the nation and enhanced the university’s reputation at the international level.
Since 1971, the UPM Alumni list has grown to an impressive list of 145,000 people - not only in Malaysia but from all over the world, including Australia, Iran, France, Myanmar and Saudi Arabia. Armed with a desire to foster fraternity with their Alma mater, UPM Alumni have managed to share great ideas and speak critically for the development of a dynamic university in the realisation of our vision and mission.

Alumni Centre has received courtesy visits from Alumni Office, Institute of Higher Education in Malaysia and International every year. Approximately 2-3 courtesy visits/delegates come from various Alumni Office such as Universiti Utara Malaysia, Universiti Teknologi Mara, Institut Pertanian Bogor and much more.
As stakeholders, alumni also assist in outreaching to other stakeholders, namely, industries, friends of the university, and local or international organisations. These stakeholders may have an interest in collaborating with their alma mater for academic, research and commercialisation purposes in line with the University’s strategic plans. Alumni Centre acts as secretariat for Yayasan Pak Rashid to manage and assist in student scholarly development and to award medal and prizes ‘YPR Gold Medal Award’ to any outstanding students. YPR also provides a financial loan to the student who needs temporary assistance to fund their study. Alumni Centre also manage Soh Kim Mee Scholarship that will be given to the Diploma and Bachelor Student in Agriculture programme.

Dear Postgraduate Students,
Kindly check your study status, if your study status is ‘Suspended’ it might be one of the following reasons:
Fail the PIE 2 twice. You are allowed to repeat the PIE 2 in the following semester but you will be barred from registering any other course. If you pass the PIE 2, you will be allowed to continue your study but if you fail, your candidature shall be terminated;
Fails to submit an academic certificate after the first year of study. Failure to do so will result in termination in the following semester;
Does not complete and pass the Research Proposal Seminar (SPS5903/SPS6903) after the second semester of study, failure to do so will result in termination in the following semester;
Has not nominated a Supervisory Committee by the second semester of study, failure to do so will result in termination in the following semester;
Does not complete and pass the Research Method before the third semester of study, failure to do so will result in termination in the following semester;
Fail twice the prerequisite course for programme of studies. If you pass the prerequisite course, you will be allowed to continue your study but if you fail, your candidature shall be terminated in the following semester;
Therefore, kindly take necessary action for alteration of your study status from ‘Suspended’ to ‘Continue’ (if related) and to avoid any unnecessary circumstances.
Persidangan Perpustakaan Universiti dan Perpustakaan Negara Malaysia (PERPUN) commenced the development of theses and dissertations management system in mid 2005. This project was participated by all of the local university libraries and three of the local private university libraries (MMU Library, UNITEN Library and UTP Library) under PERPUN. MyTO was officially launched on 9th February 2007 with the launching of MyUniNet which has been a gateway to online information resources for the universities in Malaysia.
MyTO is an electronic theses dissertation (ETD) initiative to manage the collection of theses and dissertations of public and private universities in Malaysia. MyTO was established at the end of 2005 to be a central repository of Malaysian theses and to share the collection of theses between academic libraries in Malaysia electronically. MyTO provides easy access and retrieval through search engines that retrieve accurate search results by simple search, combination of Boolean operators, full-text search and provide the browsing feature. MyTO also provides several format of theses access for the user such as abstract, 24 pages full-text and complete full-text.
