Now we could plug about 200 different combinations of temperature and size in by hand, but what would be the point when HYSYS has so thoughtfully provided us with a tool to do just that. It's called a Case Study (very similar to Sensitivity Runs in Aspen) and is available as part of the DataBook.
This video is about the simulation of the different types of case studies in Aspen HYSYS. The case studies are Sensitivity, Nested, Discrete, and Base& Shift.
The aim of the first case study is to demonstrate the capability of the automation process by sending specific values to the simulator and collecting data from it once the case is converged.
To help us, the HYSYS has a great tool called "Case Studies". With this tool you can extrapolate operational conditions and see the behavior of your equipment and process.
